What is On-site training?
It is a private face-to-face training workshop hold in your chosen place like library, auditorium etc. UAP will travel to your place to provide your staff or local group training designed specifically to meet your needs. On-site training is an economical way to train a group without incurring costly travel expenses for each participant. You may also join with other libraries or groups in your area to split fees and expenses.

What is the difference between on-site and regional training?
Regional training sessions are listed on the UAP training calendar and widely announced. Regional registration is open to individuals in specific institutions listed in the Calendar. On-site training is a privately scheduled session for a single institution or group on their own place wherever they choose.

How do I request a session?
Email, uap@parapsychologyuk.com, your request will be directed to the appropriate trainer.

How long will it take to schedule on-site sessions?
UAP will make every effort to meet your request. We can generally schedule sessions within two weeks.

How many people can attend my on-site training session?
There is no limitation for the number of participants. It depends on you. The more participants in group you have the more split on the fee and expense among students will be.

What is the fee for on-site training?

How do I change my name, address, phone number, and/or email address?
Distance Education students must submit a change my name, address, phone number, and/or email address request to the UAP for processing. This written request MUST include the date of the request, the student's full name, date of birth, phone number, mailing address, email address, student number and a copy of your Student Card.

How will I receive the proof of current enrollment?
As soon as we receive your filled registration form and payment we will inform you the completion of your registration besides other guidance and information via your email address.

Can I get an extension for a flexible enrollment course if I don't complete it in one year?
You can request a six-month extension if you have approximately 25 percent of your course work, notify the UAP Office, and pay a

Does distance homework have due date deadlines?
Most distance courses today have homework assignment deadlines set by the instructor. During the term you will be informed about each.

What are pre-requisites for distance learning?
The following skills are essential for success in distance education: Work and learn independently, manage your time, goal-oriented, the ability to commit time and check email.

By what methods are distance courses delivered?
Courses are delivered through printed materials, audio and videotapes, CD-ROM, telephone communication with the instructor, fax or Email.

Does distance education cost more than classes held on campus?
While tuition and book/material fees are the same for distance and local courses, students taking distance delivered classes are required to pay distance fees (handling and mailing charge for CD/DVD etc).

How much study time is required for distance courses?
Plan to spend 5-8 hours studying per week per course. Distance courses require a lot of work and time but the percentage of students who complete is similar to the on-campus sections and the average grade is often higher.

How do I apply for graduation and when will I receive my certificate?
You don't need to do anything. After taking your final exam you will be evaluated by all your scores and delivered homework assignments during education. The related certificate will be issued to the qualified student and will be sent to student's mail address.
